Vintage Classic Specialist LLC was founded in 2004 by Rafa Gutierrez, a former employee of West Coast Classic Restorations, where he worked for 14 years under the guidance of Lenny Copp. Rafa's passion for classic cars and commitment to excellence led him to establish a business that quickly gained a reputation for its attention to detail and factory-correct restorations.

In 2023, Brian Conklin took over the reins of Vintage Classic Specialist, bringing his decades of experience with both stock and highly modified classic Volkswagens.
